Kruger joins Qualigen&#8217;s Board of Directors"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Qualigen, Inc., a privately owned company that provides rapid, easy to use, fully quantitative diagnostic testing solutions, announced today that its Board of Directors has elected <span class=\"xn-person\">Kurt H. Kruger<\/span> to the Board, effective <span class=\"xn-chron\">June 26, 2017<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Kruger has enjoyed a 30-year career in Medical Technology. His deep involvement in the field has ranged from product design and development as a biomedical engineer to raising capital for, and following, publicly traded medical product companies as an equities research analyst. As a marketing manager at Guidant, now a part of Boston Scientific, he developed the launch plans for the first-ever implantable defibrillator. As a securities analyst he showed perspicuity leading Hambrecht &amp; Quist in providing venture funds for, and then taking public, Ventritex, which was later acquired by St. Jude Medical. After Hambrecht &amp; Quist, Kurt worked as an analyst for Montgomery Securities and Bank of America. Across 20 years of research work, Kurt has overseen the IPOs of over 30 medical products companies, and for the last three years he has headed up the Life Sciences banking effort for WR Hambrecht &amp; Co.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Kruger received a Sc.B. degree in Biomedical Engineering from <span class=\"xn-org\">Brown University<\/span>, a Master&#8217;s degree in Bioengineering from the <span class=\"xn-org\">University of Michigan<\/span> and a business degree (S.M.) from the Sloan School at the <span class=\"xn-org\">Massachusetts Institute of Technology<\/span> (<span class=\"xn-org\">MIT<\/span>). He also completed the premedical post-baccalaureate program at <span class=\"xn-org\">Columbia University<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We are indeed fortunate to have <span class=\"xn-person\">Kurt Kruger<\/span> join our Board.
